August is traditionally the most important month in Summer. This is also the time many bloggers go on holiday, so I decided it was the best moment to take a short break. I am not going on holidays, because I love to spend the month of August in Lisbon (no irony here, Lisbon in August is paradise) and I usually take this month to make some things that were delayed throughout the year or to catch up some of the time that I loose in the rest of the year. It’s great to have a blog and to be able to communicate with people that would never meet me otherwise. Communicating is essential for me, especially because I don’t write for myself neither work for my personal pleasure. But some moments of isolation are also essential, especially when they are not imposed by others.
Café Turco will be back in early September.
I wish all my regular and non-regular readers a happy summer. I hope to have you back in September!
For those who are going to the beach, be careful with the sea and don’t forget to put some sun protector (I don’t have that many readers to allow myself not to care for them). For those who don’t, here are two nice pictures that you can download and use as wallpaper.
On the top: the sun setting in the Atlantic.
On the bottom, the night falling over Budva (probably one of the happier moments I enjoyed in the Balkans… no ethnicity there, just people having a good time).
